Ian Bos –
Bought it for my grandma. It reliefs pain in her pelvis.
And we can’t test it well enough because she not mobile enough to sit for a long while. She can now sit a bit longer with us family while drinking tea at 4 pm ,
It’s an 4 star rating for me. because it helps her. But i think it’s more suitable even for women who have laboured a baby.
Greetings Ian from the UK.
Peter –
My pelvic floor area is torn and my tailbone/coccyx is shattered because of an accident with the bike. The saddle of the bike has created those problems. I had a rectal surgery and still have a large wound.
I tried other cushions but they were often to soft or didn’t give the right amount of pressure. With the Carrie cushion I am able to sit for a longer period because the pressure is divided well. It gives the right amount of counter pressure. I prefer sitting on the soft side with a little bit of air in the air cushion. The cushion would have been too hard right after the surgery, but now (6 weeks after surgery) it is perfect for me.
Now I am able to have seated conversations again and that makes me feel more normal and less handicapped.
